Sensex, on Thursday, closed 104 points down at
30,030 due to turnover booking by investors. Along with sectors, Healthcare,
FMCG and Metal lost over 0.7% to 1.0% each. Among stocks, ITC, Axis Bank and
Lupin lost over 1.9% to 2.5% each. Market breadth was negative with 1576
declines next to 1300 advances.
Nifty closed 10 points behind at 9,342. Today,
we look ahead to Stock markets to open on a level note on the back of solid worldwide
cues.
US Markets closed on a flat note. Dow and Nasdaq
closed flat. US markets, today, will see data releases on Advance GDP Price
Index q/q and service cost Index q/q.
Asian markets are trading on a negative note;
Nikkei is trading 0.2% downward and Hang Seng is trading 0.3% down. SGX Nifty
is trading flat at 9,363. Indian ADRs finished the day on a mixed note. Among
financial ADRs, ICICI Bank closed 1% down, while HDFC Bank closed 1.1% down.
Among IT ADRs, Wipro gained 0.8% and Infosys closed 0.5% higher. Tata Motors
ADR gained 0.7%.
