The market has ended lower after a lot of struggle. The Sensex was down 169.65 points or 0.7 percent at 25436.97, and the Nifty slipped 43.90 points or 0.6 percent at 7805.90. About 1291 shares have advanced, 1313 shares declined, and 115 shares are unchanged. GAIL, Hindalco, BHEL, Maruti and Hero MotoCorp were gainers while ICICI Bank, Dr Reddy's Labs, Bharti Airtel, Adani Ports and SBI were losers in the Sensex.
