Nifty futures off at a premium of 27.45 points.
All over open interest in the stock market was Rs 306,386 crore after addition of Rs 11,402 crore in open interest.
Nifty call options shed 11.76 lakh shares in open interest where as put options added 28.49 lakh shares in open interest.
Daily View
Around 5.12 lakh shares were added in open interest, with the increase in price implying a long build-up by share market participants in today’s trade.
On the options front, the India Volatility Index (VIX) decreased in today’s trade by ~1.95%.
